Scholarships for students entering 9th grade


Sr. Elizabeth Parente Scholarship for Outstanding Young Musicians

Audition Date: Monday, December 4, 2017

  • $250- $1,000 renewable annually for 4 years.
  • Auditions are required for consideration.
  • Scholarship application and nomination by vocal or music instructor required.

Mother Ninetta Ionata Academic Scholarship

  • Up to $1,000 renewable annually for 4 years.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement, High School entrance testing, teacher recommendations, interview, and leadership qualities.

The Archbishop Thomas Walsh Scholarship

  • Up to $1,000 renewable annually for 4 years.
  • Must have attended VVA in 8th grade.
  • Recipients of the Archbishop Thomas Walsh Scholarship must be nominated by their pastors.
  • Recipients must be active parishioners, demonstrate leadership qualities and academic achievement.

Dr. Paul Francis Zito Scholarship

  • Up to $1,000 renewable annually for 4 years.
  • Selection is based on service to school and community, teacher recommendations, and interview.

Partners in Catholic Education Scholarship

  • $1,000 renewable annually for 4 years.
  • Must be new to VVA in the fall and have attended a Catholic elementary school.
  • One student from each Catholic elementary school is eligible for this scholarship.
  • Recipients must be nominated by their elementary school principals.
  • Recipients must demonstrate leadership qualities, academic achievement and good school citizenship.

The Victoria Brady Scholarship

  • Full and partial tuition scholarships may be awarded annually.
  • Must demonstrate enthusiasm for the mission of Villa Victoria Academy and help to foster school spirit and a positive approach to school and service work
  • Must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and potential to succeed based on academic record and entrance test results
  • Applicants must be nominated by their teacher, guidance counselor, or principal.
