Do I need to shadow at Villa?2025-10-13T11:06:43-04:00

You do not need to shadow at Villa but we think it’s a great way to see what we do at VVA! Students are encouraged to sign up for a shadow day. Each girl considering our middle school will be assigned to a Villa buddy in their current grade for the day. 8th grade students will shadow with a Villa buddy in the high school. Visiting students can make special requests for a particular buddy if they know a student currently enrolled in our school. Please call or email the Admissions Office to schedule a shadow day.

Each family and each situation are different. Any family wishing to apply for financial aid can apply for aid for any grade at VVA. The cost to apply for aid is $60 through the Clarity application portal. The Clarity system uses the IRS retrieval tool. Once an application has been submitted and a student has been accepted to VVA, our financial aid committee at Villa reviews the recommendation from Clarity and with the funds we have available, tries our best to meet the recognized need of the family. Families are notified of admissions decisions and financial aid decisions at the same time via letter.

Students applying for grade 9 at VVA do need to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) during the admissions process. If a student has tested at another site the score report can be obtained from that school by the family and submitted to the Villa Admissions Office.
